Dialektika Dimensi Sakral dan Profan dalam Memaknai Digitalisasi Tubuh Kristus

The restrictions on physical interactions during the COVID-19 pandemic forced the church to look for ways to sustain its life and ministry. Finally, the church utilizes digital space, and every church member interacts with the other members online, even though they are physically separated. The basis used is the alignment of the sacred and profane dimensions of the congregation so that online worship can be implemented as a second option. However, the implementation of online worship has become popular and persists today, even though there is no urgency to limit physical interactions like during the COVID-19 pandemic. Online worship, once a second choice, is slowly moving to become the first choice. This article will explore the issue of online worship that correlates with digital ecclesiology. The basis used is the unity of individuals of faith converted into one metaphysical and concrete body. Society 5.0 also explores whether digital ecclesial life can substitute conventional ecclesial life. Therefore, this article will explore how the body of Christ can be converted into the digital world.
